2011 Ligue FR – GTR Part: TEM 1-2-3

The GTR championship of the 2011 Ligue FR – LFS France’s official championship – has taken place recently. It saw a massive domination from Tiger Express, taking 11 wins and 22 podiums in 12 races. The team managed to get a full podium sweep at the drivers’ championship, with Yann Laprevotte taking the title, in front of Karl Raudsepp and Liane Solfrank. The trio beat known figures of the French speaking community such as spdo Racing’s Morgan Trollé, Team Vires‘ Pierre Peron, Crazy Drivers‘ Pantera or 2F2F’s Oliv.

iTCC 2011: Season Review

Touring car racing was back at its best as the 3rd annual season of the iCON Touring Car Championship kicked off in January 2011. The championship this time had a slightly lighter schedule than in 2009 and 2010, with “only” 15 races splited in 5 events – one on each LFS venue but Westhill.

Tiger Express Motorsports managed to field 2 to 3 cars in each round. If the 2010 campaign was bitterly disappointing with only 1 point and the 32nd place overall, things went much better in 2011: Yann Laprevotte, Oskari Rinne, Vince Versteken and David Jundt managed to get 97 points overall, which promoted the team in 4th at the teams’ championship, just behind the big names – ineX Racing, Sonicrealms Racing and My3id Gaming.

TEM Announces rFactor Involvement for 2011

Tiger Express Motorsports is proud to announce the start of its activities on the very popular rFactor simulator, beginning in early January 2011. It will consist in a participation on leagues organised by multiplatform banner RaceConnect, though further involvement could be considered later. This of course does not affect the team’s activities on Live For Speed S2 in any way.

Yann Laprevotte is early leader of the FSR Championship season 2

The FSR Championship, a semi-national 10 rounds league using the FXR, organised by French Street Racers, came back for a second season after a a short summer break.

After 3 rounds, the opening season’s runner-up Yann Laprevotte is leading the championship in the only Tiger Express entry. Yann already took 1 victory and 3 podiums, and is leading FSR’s Alexis Georg by 6,5 points.

Tommy Østgaard and Tiger Express Motorsports champions of the FSR Championship!

Tommy Østgaard has been crowned in the French Street Racers Championship after his 6th victory of the season at South City Classic, last Sunday. Tommy, vice-manager of ineX Racing, is sharing the success with the Tiger Express Motorsports, for whom he is racing in these series: TEM secured an easy crowd at 2 rounds to go at the teams’ championship. It is also Tiger Express’ 3rd team championship taken after the Speedsims FOX on the Run and the SRLT Private League.
