After the end of the first ever season of the SRLT Private League, which was amazingly successful for Tiger Express Motorspors, let’s try to see what’s going through the mind of the main actors of the series.

Yesterday saw at Kyoto Oval a very special day for Laurynas Matonis: the 16 years old Lithuanian from Vilnius managed to get his first ever victory in an official race. Meanwhile, his friend and fellow countryman Jonas Baksys, racing for TEM in that league, finished 2nd, which was enough for him to get crowned at the drivers’ championship.

Tiger Express also managed to get an historical 1-2-3-4-5-6 result in that race, which ended in a magnificant exploit: to get the 3 podium positions in both drivers’ and teams’ championship!

The rounds 2 and 3 of the SimRacing Lithuania Team private League saw Tiger Express overpowering the field massively, with as a result, a 1-2-3 at round 2 (RB4 at Aston Club), and a 1-2 at round 3 (XFG at Fern Bay Club). The title will be played at Kyoto Oval in 10 days, between Jonas Bakšys, Yann Laprevotte, Vince Lombardi from Tiger Express and Oskari Rinne from SRLT, while TEM seems to be safe in the lead in the teams’ standings.

SRLT Private league: 2 podiums for an amazing opening

The SimRacing Lithuania Private League saw its kick off at South City Classic yesterday, for a 25 laps race on the FBM. This closed league is open only to SRLT’s friends, and Tiger Express was very pleased to received an invitation for this league. Therefore, we decided to engage 4 FBMs for the 1st round, 2 bearing the TEM colours for the Frenchmen Yann  Laprevotte and Lims Chebbi, and two bearing Dinamo Motorsports’ livrery for Vince Lombardi and Ertan Derinay.
