Round 2, 19:05 UTC: FOX at Aston Sprint 1(AS31), 13 Laps [Map]
Round 3, 19:40 UTC: LX4 at Aston Chicane Route(AS12R), 11 Laps [Map]

The last round of the Tiger Express Z30 Festival took place on the longest layout of PMD’s open configurations pack, Kyoto International GT Long(KY33). Even with LFS’ second fastest ever car – the FO8 – no one could lap this layout in less than 3 minutes and 12 seconds.

The fourth and penultimate round of the Tiger Express Z30 Festival took place on the low-downforce Aston Central Reversed(AS11R) configuration, with GTRs. A simple but challenging track, requiring a good compormise between handling and speed. A nice field of 25 cars was present this time, sign of an healthy and steady turn-up rate.

The Tiger Express Z30 Festival already looks to be a success, after only 2 rounds completed out of 5. An average of 30.5 cars took the start in the two first races of the season. Furthermore, standards have been extremely high at the top of the field. Every single driver and team nominated in the 2010 LFS driver and LFS team of the year award have taken in at least one race so far, except Marius Golombeck. However, most of the race and qualifying sessions have been dominated by ineX Racing and spdo Racing so far, with ineX’s Joe Holmes and Phil Diaz sandwiching spdo’s Egon Liibeon at the top of the drivers’ championship sheet.

Tiger Express Events and Tiger Express Motorsports are proud to announce the Tiger Express Z30 Festival. This new league aims to propose some racing on some of the new tracks opened by the brand new Z30 patch, in a fair, fun, but nevertheless formal athmosphere. A wide selection of cars will be used, from the STDs to the FO8.
Four of the events will consist in a 45 minutes race, one in two 20 minutes races. All of them will be held on Monday nights.
Some LRF action concluded Tiger Express Events‘ year, as the RACCAR series returned for its second season. Many of the drivers were different, but the format stayed the same: 8 races over 4 events, 3 on road courses, and one on an autocross course, using the 31% restricted Raceabout (RAC). The main change was in the administration of the league, after iCON Racing were in charge of the inaugural season.

On a sunny Thursday of late August 2010, 42 cars(30 GTRs and 12 LRFs) lined-up on the grid of the challenging and feared Aston Historic circuit, one of the longest track of S2. A two hours race was on, with some of LFS’ most prestigious teams taking part. It was then time to celebrate Tiger Express’ birthday in a long and intense fight for the victory.

Two months ago ended the second ever season of the International XF GTi Championship. The league was created back in October 2009 by Ministry Of Speed’s Andy O’Brien. The season was eventful, but it would see a consequent change at half-way point: Andy would pull out of the management side of the league, and would be remplaced by Yann Laprevotte. Finally the inaugural season would be taken by F1RST Racing’s Tommy Ostgaard, in front of James Peace and 4 Stroke Racing’s Kristaps Dzelzgalvis.

Hello there,
We at Tiger Express Motorsports decided to make an event celebrating the first anniversary of our LFS activities. It was indeed on the Friday, August, 7th 2009 that for the first time two TEM cars, driven by Yann Laprevotte and Chris Wilkinson, got on the grid of their first official event, the Round 1 of the Formula Junior league. This evening of racing went rather well since Yann took this day the first official podium of the squad after finishing 3rd of the feature race.
The second ever season of the Bump and Jump Revival Cup has ended a few days ago. It featured many changes – Tiger Express Events took over the organisation after iCON Racing’s collapse, and a 2 divisions system. If Renesis dominated the first season with Joachim Souaï and Damien Jourdainne, the second season would be overpowered by the Irish Foireann Na hÉireann team(litterally Team Ireland in Gaelic) composed of Ministery of Speed’s manager Andy O’Brien and Niall Murray, the brother of the real life Seat Eurocup driver, Eoin. Both drivers took 1st and 2nd in both divisions.

Here’s an interview with two of the most noticable drivers of the Spring 2009 season of the BnJ Revival, the American Kevin Myers from RSR, and the Frenchman Lims Chebbi from Tiger Express. If the former is probably one of the most experienced Bump and Jump racer ever, with a 3rd place in the CTRA Bump and Jump rankings, the latter had his first ever experience with this very special style of racing in the Revival Cup. He finished 9th of the championship and won the Rookie Cup.

Hello racers,
We are glad, today, to release Tiger Express Events’ website. Tiger Express Events is a league banner using the Live For Speed racing simulator. We are going to held several leagues in the next future, including the BnJ Revival Cup and the XFGTi Championship, two very successful new leagues created back in 2009. They aren’t started yet, but we plan to open the BnJ Revival signs-up in the next few days. Anyway, you can already browse a bit the website, thankfully made by our webmaster Michal Saidl, in order to find more information about them.
Enjoy your stay, and hope to see you on track very soon!
